Before & After
A dear client of ours wanted a place to rest, relax, and get out of the city. He found such a place on an inland lake, only an hour from downtown Chicago.
In order to help him furnish this new space, we went “shopping” in his and several family members’ storage units. Two truckloads later, we were able to put together a cozy cottage escape that can be used year-round. Here are a few of the “before” and “after” photos:
Knowing that this would be a year-round escape, we focused on making the cottage cozy and prepared for any weather or activity—whether it’s reading or going for a morning swim in the lake.
