One of the joys of my business is getting to work with clients at multiple stages of their lives. So many of my clients bring my team and I on for a first major move (say, rightsizing from a house in the suburbs to a condo in the city)—and then get back in touch years later when they’re moving once again! Having a preestablished relationship and familiarity with a client’s home makes the move that much easier and more meaningful.
My podcast guest this week is one of my “repeaters” and also one of my close friends. Lyric Hughes Hale and I cut our teeth together early in our careers in the Chicago business community and we’ve stayed close ever since—especially as CMFTO has been on board for two major moves! First, we moved Lyric and her husband from the city to a home in Winnetka (with an impressive library of books in tow), and then—10 years later—from Winnetka back to the city.
