In this post, we’re addressing an important project: clearing out the medicine cabinet.

There are three main questions to ask yourself as you assess each item in your medicine cabinet or closet: 

• Is the item expired?

We’ve all done it. I’m talking about impulse buying. We’re walking through a store, and there’s a sample being offered. It tastes good, so we buy the product with visions of becoming a Master Chef at our next gathering.

At CMFTO, we work with a lot of clients who are rightsizing their homes and their lives. Often, they’re transitioning from a space where they hosted large dinner parties to something more streamlined.

I’ll start with a confession: I have a magazine-collecting problem! Actually, I should say “had.” When I began to spell out my system for managing magazines, I challenged myself to conquer my own nemesis: interior design magazines.

Since we are rightsizing specialists, and as many of you or your clients are rightsizing, this week we explore the idea of versatility. In the pages of one of our favorite magazines (House Beautiful) we stumbled upon this image and thought it was a good example of versatility.
